Painting jobs that pay
- Say how many coats and who supplies the paint. Color changes after the start should cost extra, in writing.
- List the prep work. It's often most of the job, and customers don't see it.
- Quote per room for interiors and per side for exteriors; customers compare easily.
- In homes built before 1978, the EPA's lead-safe rules can apply when you disturb painted surfaces. Check whether you need the certification before you sand or scrape.
- Take the before photo from the same spot as the after. Together they sell the next job.

Can I set up recurring visits?
